DCM TF-250 Floor Standing Speakers
As in all my different advertisements, these speakers look and work as though they were new! Look at my different advertisements by tapping on [other grouped ads]
A Short History:
These speakers play a little, yet critical, part ever. Back in the 1970’s the advancements of sound were at that point concocted. We had our Henry Kloss, our Saul Marantz, and our James B. Lansing (JBL), the Phase Linear Electronics lines, and numerous others. In the 70’s, much sooner than you were conceived, it was about getting these different advances to the general population. We trusted that greater was better. We were the alleged Baby Boomers; the children who needed BIG speakers that gave us BIG stable. We needed bass, and parcel’s of it. We needed drums and heaps of it. We needed that cool-sounding guitar input, and then some! The different designer masters and the numerous other “carport innovators” all gave the “Boomers” all that we needed and that’s just the beginning. We were no more fulfilled by, nor needed, our folks’ mono sound, or their, huge, burdensome furniture “stereos.” Sinatra, Beatles and Beach Boys were no more “our thing.” Then, a little, crappy-looking, gap in-the-divider, concealed, dump of a recording organization that none of us knew or found out about was giving us what we needed – “Sound City” in Van Nuys, California. Sound City Recording organization gave us our “sound,” not Capitol or EMI. The “City” gave us Super Loud solid with gatherings like “Fleetwood Mac,” “Alabama,” “Duran-Duran,” thus numerous, some more. We had awesome spots to purchase our vinyl collections (yes, vinyl) and one spot was “Tower Records” – and a large group of other little “Radical” record stores and chains. Tower Records left Sacramento (“Excremento”), California, that in the end came south and attacked the place where I grew up, the San Fernando Valley (the “Valley”), a suburb of Los Angeles. OK, in the Valley, and spitting separation from where I inhabited the time, we had Marantz Corp., JBL, and numerous others. It was an EXPLOSION of many companys creating the hardware, speakers, turntables, and reel to reel players, and from all over else in the nation. The USA was going “Balls Out” assembling all that we Boomers needed or thought we required. All we required was the force and speakers to play these new Hard Rock gathers that we had heard on the radio; at the same time, we didn’t have the room in our little carport size condo or rooms of our folks’ homes. Anyway, what to do? Indeed, we had some cash in any case, for the above enormous name organizations, we didn’t have that much cash, nor the “room” with which to put their behemoths they were creating for us Boomers. All things considered, we required an answer. Keep in mind, there were new organizations delivering the “new” stereo gear we needed however couldn’t bear. After a long time there was another brand of gear and we could scarcely keep up!! The costs, luckily, continued dropping and stores (more like “Gen X-er Disneylands”) kept appearing; stores like Pacific Stereo, The Federated, Mom and Pop stereo stores, and so on., everywhere! The new Audio-Boomers “lived” at these and different stores like them – we didn’t have the Consumer Electronics Show, Consumer Reports, and so on. Only a couple of magazines – however who needed to “peruse about” them? We had the stereo stores with their sound rooms that flaunted the most recent in stereo hardware! We needed, and heard, every one of them. In any case, the issues still existed and one was “room” – yet we needed the huge sound that the most current gatherings were beating into our ears. We couldn’t manage the cost of a lot of yet we needed a ton for our McDonald’s cash. We could scarcely manage the cost of our Garrard or B.I.C. turntables and little beneficiaries, and huge speakers. We compared Big speakers with Big sounds. Kid, were we off-base! Enter the “DCM” line of speakers, similar to these offered here. Conceived in 1978, these speakers were a God-send. They were little, and played huge sound. We could listen to our Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Hendrix, and the numerous all the more Hard Rock collections without the smallest issues! At the point when joined to our Marantz, Phase Linear, and so forth., we arrived!
These DCM Time Frame 250 speakers are extraordinary survivors of that by-gone period; regardless they play uproarious, clear, and recreate that Bass line like despite everything we requirement for all the old music CD’s and vinyl of the above gatherings thus numerous increasingly that left Sound City that recorded the gatherings utilizing their Neve sound load up! Give these DCM speakers 75 to 100wpc and keep an eye out! Truly incredible noisy, exact sound, and man would they be able to handle it! That is the thing that they were intended to do and they did it well – dislike the “pansy” speakers that couldn’t deal with the “Craftsmen.” These were, are, and remain, “Rock speakers.” Great top of the line (for “Yes”) and Bass lines (for “Cream”) thus some more!
The best part of these phenomenal survivors is their cost. Whenever new, these “DCM TF 250’s” sold for $400 in 1978 – that resemble $2,000 today. Today, nonetheless, I’m offering these DCM’s to you for the unimportant total of $175.00 (in today’s cash!) Grab a bit of history, and listen to the immense hints of the “DCM TF 250” speakers and have a ton of fun listening to “Yes”, “ELO,” “Cream,” “Boston,” and the rest with no stresses. Simply superb playback abilities. Gracious, and don’t stress over “room.” They aren’t the behemoths like JBL 250Ti or even JBL L-100 speakers so you needn’t bother with much room by any stretch of the imagination. These are “meager” speakers. At most, you have to set them 2 feet from a divider on their inherent stands, and afterward “wrench these delights up!” Oh, and that is genuine Oak wood on top and base; not lacquer, but rather strong wood!
A debt of gratitude is in order for perusing and doing a reversal in time with me. Keep in mind “Ringer Bottoms”? “Creatively colored T-shirts”?

ENGLISH LANGUAGE:
I had an exceptionally poor involvement with a vender who talked broken English, and had a troublesome time with generally simple ideas. He required 2 and 3 clarifications, and still misunderstood things, requiring cancelation of the potential $3,000.00 buy I needed to make! As a result of this, I decline to experience that again despite the fact that I need a thing seriously, or need to offer a thing. I truly attempted; so to stay away from future occurrences . . . purchasers (and venders) MUST talk and compose familiar English as I have needed to manage an excessive number of issues that originated from managing the individuals who did not have a firm handle on the English dialect. A debt of gratitude is in order for seeing (no play on words planned).
