Available to be purchased are a couple of Tonian Labs Tl-D1s that are in close impeccable condition. They have no imprints that I can distinguish and look as fine as when I purchased them. They are in maple complete and accompany the supplied spikes and braces for the back for changing the bass to your room (they are a semi-open bewilder outline).
They are 95db proficient so anything from a low fueled tube amp to your run of the mill strong state amp can drive them effortlessly. They begin and stop on a dime, have enormous elements and have the most see-through nature of any speaker I’ve listened. They are tone aces. Following 5 years I’ve chosen to proceed onward to an alternate sound (more mid-corridor as opposed to front line) and now should part with these.
They play with power down to around 42Hz so acoustic, jazz and traditional truly sparkle on these. Rock can sound great yet in the event that you require that last octave the notes will play yet not shake the windows. :- )
Google any survey and you’ll not discover one negative thing about these speakers. The move from the super tweeter to the Fostex driver is consistent. The cupboards disperse the music like an instrument which makes for the most regular sound.
